I don't think Deloss Dodds give one crap whether he or anybody gets the LHN or not. He's a CEO that cares about the money, and he's getting his. So that's that. Perfect for today's college football landscape.

They've got some good classic games on there. I was watching the '91 Orange Bowl between CU & Notre Dame the other day (the one where CU totally lucked out when a clip was called after they had the biggest brain cramp known to man at the time & punted to the Rocket w/ a minute go & he ran it back. CU won the NC thanks to that (not to mention a certain 5th down earlier in the year).

Another reason not to get FIOS.

if it wasn't such a pain to switch it all out...I considered doing so just because they took LHN

Yeah, but you both are still paying for it. And that money goes to the University of Texas Athletic Department.

i dont care - there are lots of channels i'm paying for that i dont watch, or don't "support".....they aren't getting any ad money from me - ratings is what drives the success/failure of any channel

and i'm sure as hell not going to give the LHN enough validation or importance, that i'd switch out my TV provider - that's all kinds of retarded imo

None of the UT alums that I know have it, there is a small area near the campus that has it but it seems no one else in the Austin area does. The bars in the service area did real well for the games on there last year and will probably do well this season. I find it rather humorous but then I have had Directv for years and now living in Denver the odds are that I will see the Pac 12 network long before LHN on DTV.

I have Fios here in Murphy and I get the LHN. I actually checked it out a couple of times. I can honestly say that it is TERRIBLE. I watched about 10 minutes of one of their practice shows, mostly because I couldn't comprehend how a practice would be a worthwhile show.

Turns out, it isn't worthwhile. They spent almost the whole time I watched talking to an assistant D-Line coach. They were talking about the fun of the gameday experience. The only thing close to football was the guys standing in the background in jerseys and shorts. Great insight to their practice.
