Lost my best friend last week

I don't put much personal stuff on here, but had to share; last Thursday my best friend, Pete Hester, departed from this life; he was only 34 years old. Pete was the most loyal friend a man could ever have and leaves behind a ton of friends and family that will miss him; Pete was always there no matter what and when we went out to have a good time he enjoyed nothing more than seeing everyone have a good time; Pete would just sit back, take it all in, and throw in a few giggity giggity giggitys; he will be missed

Pete was a very big guy and he died from a bacterial infection; no one knows for sure what caused it, but once they got him to the hospital they were amazed that he was able to work and carry on a normal life with an infection like that; he may not have even realized he was sick cause he dealt with some health issues on a daily basis and probably figured that this was just one more thing to deal with. RIP to my ultimate wingman

Thanks to all; it's been a rough week since Pete passed away, but things are slowly returning to normal; his mom seems to be coping as best as she can but i can't imagine her pain to lose a child

Things will return to normal, but you won't every forget him. You will be amazed at how you see him in seemingly unrelated things. Not saying that makes it less painful, but there are moments of joy to still be realized.
