Is it just me, or is the rate of celebrity deaths on a remarkable upswing? Five mentioned on NBC nightly tonight. I guess it is just a sign of the times. Most of them were very young when being a "celebrity" hit national awareness.

While I enjoy death pools as much as any dork on the Internet, the weekly reminders of the ticking clock can't be much fun for the older folks we all know.

She was very blessed to have lived such a long full life.

I saw her when I was a kid. She headlined with the Smothers Brothers and the Mills Brothers.

****ing funny. RIP. I hope I am old for as long as she was.

Remember when a celebrity was famous for actually doing something like a movie, or being a gifted artist? Not so much anymore.
