He apparently has about 3 weeks to decide. (http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/obama-has-22-days-drop-biden_650014.html)

This is the type of thing we probably will not see in real life, and just on TV shows like 24 (where future President Palmer dumped his wife because she was crazier than Michelle and Hillary COMBINED during the Democratic primaries, hehe), but still an interesting thought.

Thoughts?

PS: 3 days of anonymous voting and you can only vote one and cannot change your vote.

Joe Biden's entertainment value makes him a worthy politician.

People hang on their seats to hear what gaff he'll utter.

BTW, I didn't vote.

I agree. He can be unintentionally hilarious.

Can't we all. :D

Still, his latest gaffs are a bit embarrassing. A bit? A LOT.

Actually, it isn't unprecedented. FDR wound up winning his four presidential elections with three different running mates. His original vice president, John Garner, turned out to not be liberal enough and was opposed to most of the New Deal, so he was replaced by Henry Wallace. Wallace would wind up having a whole trunk full of baggage, so he would be replaced by Harry Truman for FDR's final run. Wallace would wind up being named Secretary of Commerce by FDR in order to placate him for not being chosen as his running mate, but Truman would fire him from that post for being too chummy with the Soviet Union. Seriously, Wallace was one interesting dude in American politics. Even though he spent the bulk of his career trying to be buddies with Stalin and company, he would eventually see the error of his ways and wound up supporting Eisenhower in the 50s.

FDR, there's a lot of unprecedented stuff about that guy, from being the only longer-than-two-terms president, to the veep thing.

When talking about precedence, I think we can omit FDR from the discussion. :)

And that's not a knock on FDR, who was a great American president that had the unenviable task of leading the U.S. out of the Great Depression and during WW2

Yeah, Palin was pretty goofy although she had to have Tina Fey to make it really funny....Joe, on the other hand, can do it all on his own.

No, and for the same reasons Texas doesn't need to choose a different coach.

I don't know who is stupider...Palin for speaking her opinoins and showing government waste and speaking truths and being a real person or sleazeball trail ambulance and skirt chaser and nonconvicted federal money launderer and philanderer on dying wife John Edwards? Now tell me who is more stupid?

John McCain was the tailhook horndog skirtchaser for choosing Palin over someone at least competent.

Disagree, I think he just didn't get caught back then.

She made for good SNL fodder, no doubt. She also made me want to never talk with my Wisconsin accent, lest someone say "You sound like Sarah Palin"

Actually, I think that Obama, himself, actually believe that he has noone worthy to be at his side.
He will probably run alone; unless Stalin rises from the dead.
