And USA Today decided to reveal the truth to the public, that he indeed did vote USC as No. 1. (http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/ncf/story/_/id/8254386/lane-kiffin-votes-usc-trojans-no-1-coaches-poll-saying)

USC coach Lane Kiffin said Tuesday that he "would not vote USC No. 1" in the coaches' poll

"I would not vote USC No. 1, I can tell you that much," Kiffin said.

"I don't know how you vote a team No. 1 that has less players than everybody else, so I don't but I'm sure I think I know our issues more than other people do, especially at running back," Kiffin said.

I don't think anybody thought much of LK, even before this "breaking" news.

If great recruiting could win you NCs, then Mack Brown would have 10 NCs. I don't think LK is a good coach, thus he will dominate Pac 12 with talent alone, and lose to the SEC like everybody else.

Funny you mention :mack:, because the reason USA Today now threatens to make lying coaches' votes public is because of Jim Tressel saying that he voted Texas No. 1 in 2006 (or was it 2505?). He actually voted for none other than tOSU. Derp.

Looks like this guy is covering for him for voting for his team. But the question is him lying about it.

Well, at least he made up for it by giving up his vote.
