The purpose of the election is to get rid of Obama. A vote for Romney is a vote to do that. ANY other action or non-action is at least a half vote for Obama.

The purpose of the election is to vote for the candidate you feel is best qualified and is closest with your ideals.

This is why if Ron Paul doesn't get nominated at the GOP convention, which it's sadly looking that way, I'm voting for Gary Johnson.

Not 180. If it were 180, one of them would be for increased legal immigration and one would be for decreased legal immigration. Both favor making it easier to legally immigrate.

I vote by principles, not parties. It's apparent you don't view ridding the country of the scourge that is our president as important. Heck, if I felt that way I'd vote for Allen West or Michelle Bachmann or Ron Paul or someone other than Romney, too

Make it 170 then....Paul wants to remove birthright citizenship while Johnson wants open borders.

I honestly don't know anything about this Stein woman and her political views. I did put concerns about global warming as "most important", the same weight as I gave for supporting offshore drilling.

I spent half of my life so far working as an economist/stock broker in Asia and I've got a very good idea about how big business and big government and big market players operate. So, I'm definitely not an anti business tree hugger. I am much more pratical than that. I think that they're all out to screw us, so I try to hedge my bets whenever possible.

Obviously the offshore drilling and global warming do not cancel each other out.

He strangled Bin Laden with his bare hands and slam dunked him into the Indian Ocean.

On the other hand, the poll shows that we all have more in common than we think.
