No idea, but I do know that the Big 12 dropped dead weight by dropping Mizz and Aggie. It certainly looks like we dumped two unranked football programs and added two ranked ones :D

USC's incompetent coach will blow it somewhere along the way. They have a very good QB and a very good schedule, but they don't have a very good coach.

It's too early to say over or under rated given all the changes. One thing for sure, Stoops always gets high predictions in the preseason polls no matter what the team did the previous year.

Total points, not just first place votes, is what determines your ranking. If I'm not mistaken, points are given based on which position in the poll you are from each coach, so more coaches had us at #1, but those that didn't had us at a lower average spot than they had LSU. They just said on sports talk radio here that is the first time that has happened in the history of this poll(since 1991).

I know Georgia has an easy schedule, but I'm not buying them at no. 6. I see the coaches are also buying all the Michigan hype. Oh well, hope they enjoy their no. 8 ranking--after we get through with them in Dallas, they probably won't be in the top 15....

They also don't have a lot of depth. A few injuries or even just a team that can just wear them out physically will have a good shot at beating them.
