I think I see your point.

You are free to hate the crime of both persons. You are are also free to hate the white murder suspect. You are also free to hate the black suspect, but some racist people may say you cannot.

It's America (for the mean time), and you are free to say whatever you want, no matter how vile, and attack anyone verbally until they are in tears.
And, you are free to even "hate"!....if that makes you feel more like a man...
But, "hating" just makes you a bigger target for others.
