Locking in the ACC #1 or #2 isnt a bad gig for the Orange Bowl ... the huge question is the "at large" team ... the top teams from the other major conferences are locked in (for now) into bowl deals .... so who will they pit the ACC team against? Some Big East team? The 8th or 9th place team from a major? The best "mid major" left?

I think the Orange Bowl is going to have to pull in another major conference partner for this game to mean anything.

Don't know if this will be a enough for either the ACC or the Orange Bowl to maintain much status as premier locations. Time will tell....
