I live in Georgia, and so alot of you might have seen this. But for us who remember the teams from the 70's and 80's, I came across this on Youtube and really enjoyed watching it, as it brought back alot of memories.

I see Kelly Phelps didn't bother to dress up for the occasion...

I'm sure it's sad for some to see Lee Roy Selmon in there.

That was a great two hours spent watching the "King", must have been something else to be recruited by this man and how he presented what the player will experience at Oklahoma! The confidence and swagger he displayed showed up on the field and in the players attitude...........................might be along time before we ever see this again.

It was special!

I loved that story from Eddie Hinton about he and Mizoo's Roger Wehrli.

Cracked me up....

He recruited one of my players in the late 70's. I got to spend some time with him then and more thru the years. I have met them all and he is the best without a doubt.

Or being the recipient of the hardest hit I've ever seen a Sooner take in the '78 game (about the 1:30 mark) :

I'd obviously been happy had Billy hung onto the ball later on, but I've always felt a little less bad about that loss because we in all probability should've been down more than 3 points when he did it thanks to that blown call.

I was talking about Phelps' fumbles when he was playing QB at Nebraska. He had some serious speed but fumblitis won't get you far in the wishbone.
