Our buy weeks sure are early in the season

The 3rd and 5th weeks. The 1st buy is the week before K State in Norman and the 2nd is the week before we play Texas Tech in Lubbock.

oSu gets a buy the week before they play Texas in Stillwater, but they do not get a buy the week before they play us in Norman.

I wasn't too thrilled about this when the schedule first came out, but now, when I look at the newbness that we've got at a few spots (esp. WR & TE), I'm thinking a couple of early extra weeks of practice w/o risk of losing a game that week may not be such a bad thing.

I wish we would of had a week off before West Virginia. We will barely be rested up from our trip to Dallas before we have to be in Norman the following week. Its a 3 hour drive for us to the home games so I always like it when we have an away game after Dallas, but not this year. :)
