Do a bunch of night time practices during summer. Starting from 8PM - 1AM.

It will solve the problem of half time sleep walking.

Tailgate all day before the game.

Just not make a big deal out of it, thus giving the players a built-in excuse?

Let the players sleep in and make sure they lay off the carbs that day.

Out at UTEP, you don't want an afternoon game the month of September especially the first week. That would be brutal in that desert heat. OU would have the sun beating down on them all afternoon along with those of us making the trip. Little humidity and a lot of dehydration would happen. I will take a night game and be extremely happy.

I don't like afternoon games in Norman in September but that is nothing compared to UTEP. We sit on the NE side and it seems like it takes forever for the sun to go down. It is really hot when the sun is beating down.
