Looks like it is pretty much a done deal!

A four team playoff.

So the play-offs rotate amongst the existing bowls...orange, sugar, rose, cotton?,fiesta? new B12/SEC bowl?....only two bowl games per year really matter. Then the BCS bowl becomes the national championship game...at a different site than any of the play-off games were played?

The SEC plots how it can have all four teams in the four-team playoff, much like it had all two teams in the national championship last year.

The Big 12 plots how it can convince the SEC that its champion needs to meet the SEC champion in a national championship qualifier.

The Pac 12 and B1G plot to make the Rose Bowl a qualifier for the national title game.

The ACC and Big East twiddle their thumbs as they become more irrelevant.

The mid-majors know they'll never have another champion after BYU in 1984 so why bother stirring the pot.

Notre Dame staples its butt firmly and painfully to its seat at the table, clinging firmly and painfully to independence no matter how much their football team sucks.
