I'm thinking they'll still be undefeated on 12/11/17. For that matter, I don't think they'll ever lose again. EVAR!

Should be ... although never take going to Lubbock for granted ... nor the game in Dallas. Notre Dame will be interesting as well but being in Norman I think OU wins that one.

09/22/12 vs. Kansas State TV Norman TBA (They Might if it wernt in Norman)
10/06/12 at Texas Tech TV Lubbock, Texas TBA ( I actually feel sorry for them They got an asswhoopin coming, So They aint)
10/13/12 vs. Texas TV Dallas, Texas TBA ( Mack, cant clap his way to a win, So they aint )

OU hasn;t won in Lubbock since 2003 ... and as an Aggie we know that place can be a Bermuda Triangle kinda place where weird stuff happens. They shouldn't win ... OU is vastly superior ... but weird weird things happen there.

Notre Dame is decent enough ... OU's better ... and it's in Norman ... but it ain't a lock

Texas in Dallas? They'll have a great defense that stuffed OU's running game last year. Still ... Texas has tackle and QB issues and I bet Ash/McCoy still have nightmares about the Sooners. Texas shouldn't .... but ....

the only other game that makes ya go "hmmmmmm" is 11/3 at Iowa State ... road game outside of Oklahoma the week after Notre Dame. OU has had road issues .... and Iowa State has recently been a team that can score a big win ... ask the Pokes and Huskers.

For the record ... I voted undefeated ... but ... I can see the arguement that OU might drop one they shouldn't

I didn't say no but to their defense it is reasonable to say we will lose one of those games seeing as how we lost to Tech at home when we were favored by 30, lost to Baylor for the first time in school history, and were embarrassed by OSU. When last year's schedule opened up, I didn't plan on losing any of those 3 although the OSU game was foreseeable. I thought we had a possible chance to lose at FSU, and less likely vs. A&M. By the way, OSU's only loss last year was at Iowa State.

The only games OU has lost since Florida have all been cases of mental breakdowns. There is at least anecdotal evidence that Bob has taken steps to get the Irish Setter-like attention of his players this year.
Let us hope that he maintains a firm grip on their goolies and keeps 'em focused.

Those losses came after serious injuries and 2 of em to the best Teams those skools have EVER fielded.

If we can stay injury free. I dont see us losin a game .

I expect/suspect we'll have one of our brainless games sometime before then and lose one. I would be glad to be proven wrong.

But I thought you attributed all those games to BV...

To a large degree that's true, but Bob needs to recover his earlier mojo as well. I hope Mike brought it back with him from the desert. ;)

Thats a big if. When is the last time OU has stayed injury free? 2000? I think so.

So you're right....outlook good if OU stays completely healthy.

I voted no. I see at least one brain fart game coming. It's happened every year for some time now. Teams that shouldn't even be within 20 points of OU, either are or find a way to win. OUr "home field advantage" means dick with *** whoopin Tech put on us last year, until we regain that home swag. ISU is a trap ask oSu. KSU with the Ol Man at the helm, never easy. Norte Lame seems to have OUr we are like 1-7 against them, so it's not that farfetched for OU to have 2 losses going into that game with the couch burners. Just calling it like I see it, hopefully all y'all can feed me a **** ton of crow.

If we can make it into September without some arrests, some jive-assed pimp ho mack daddy gangsta thug look at my black *** who gonna go NFL horse****, AND stay injury free we'll have a fairly healthy chance.

Well, Dean, that pretty well nails it, albeit in a way that would tend to alienate the 75% of the team that wasn't laughing.

I just re-watched the 2011 OU/TX game and Whaley ran all over the Texas defense.......

Hmmmm .... I have it still on my DVR ... I remember Texas run D as doing very well ... except for one huge run in the third quarter. Offensively ... Landry and the passing game just carved up Manny Diaz's crew ... but I remember the run defense as being good.

Favorite play was the gut punch 3rd and 25 converstion inside the 5 yard line. Sooners up 13-3 and the converstion just ripped their hearts and hopes out.
