We have two unpopular major party candidates here, folks.

Is there anything about them that doesn't utterly repulse you?

I'll go first:

President Obama seems to be a good father to his two daughters. I admire his educational background (Harvard Law) and like that he takes an active interest in American sports.

Mitt Romney also seems to be a good family man and I admire that he seems to be self-made as far as his wealth goes.

With both of them, I respect them for pursuing this office despite the fact that their racial and religious backgrounds automatically make them a target for really unkind remarks from many people.

Obama was given a pretty horrible situation, ended up passing the best healthcare overhaul he could get away with, did some things to really help the student loan situation in the short term and has by all accounts handled our foreign policy amazingly.

Romney is a superior manager who has been completely successful in just about everything he's ever done, except thus far, running for President.

I may disagree with both on many policy issues and their philosophy of government, but both seem sincerely dedicated to service to their country.
