... of the most hated people in sports.

Ndamukong Suh is in at #27. I would have put him in the top 5. Actually he should be #1.

Wouldn't have had Joe Buck or Micheal Vick on the list. Bunch of people I don't know. Would have had Tiger, Tebow, Saban, and Owens higher.

As bad as Skip is, and my God he is absolutely horrible to listen too, he is nothing compared to the awfulness that was Jay Marriotti.

I think we can safely assume that Jay is permanently gone from ESPN... but then again, Marv Albert got to return to TV after he was accused of some pretty bad things.

Do any of the Bayliss kids claim their Oklahoma heritage? I have never heard any of them mention it.

Michael Vick easily would be top 5 for me.

I hope he burns in hell.

I kinda like Skippy. He mentioned in an article once a long time ago, that his grand mother lived in Okmulgee. She was a slum lord.
In my 1956 Okmulgee phone book there are 4 apartment houses listed under her name. He was a writer here in dallas for a while.
He left after his book came out. The book hinted that a local sports star was maybe gay.

I can't believe it. That windbag is only #5? Skip must be losing his game. I love the way Jalen Rose called Skippy out.

eh Skip still tries to hint that he thinks Aikman is gay. Joe Buck is way too low on that list, and Mariotti wouldn't qualify because he isn't a writer anymore, he's too busy with his new occupation of deranged stalker that is one violation away from a nice jail term.

Skip does not need to be hated. Just ignored. Ignore his show and he will go away which is good for all.

I thought he just got tired of the gig? Is there something else? I really hated Jay, especially after he used his position to grind out Ozzie in public for Ozzie calling him a name. He provoked it, Ozzie bit on the bait, and then Jay crucified him. Is there a reason he would not be on ESPN?

Sorry, I missed the link, I did not know about that! Wow that is some extreme behavior for a professional sportswriter.

It's less the blasting of newspapers that he did. But more the fact that he assaulted his girlfriend of the time, and then violated a PPO against him within 24 hours of it being ordered by a judge. He "might" do some web writing now if he does anything at all.

Okay, this is an Oklahoma publication. I have never heard him mention Oklahoma or his roots on any show on PBS or FoodTV or wherever. Not that I watch TV all the time, I just have never heard him speak about it when I have seen shows featuring him or his cuisine. Now, OK publications trumpet it all the time...
