Some Obama campaigners thought they would raise $1 billion dollars for this election. Right now, he is far behind what he raised in 2008. Reaping what he sowed with his constant attacking of the rich for the past 3 years.

Most black people are going to vote for Obama, but his decision on gay marriage may cost him money and enthusiastic support coming from them. They will vote for him, but they don't have to like it. There was a lot of that with McCain on the flip side.

2/3 of black voters in North Carolina voted against gay marriage. They probably don't like being called bigots by the Dem party too well...

There is probably a reason that predominately black churches in the south belong to the National Baptist Convention rather than the Southern Baptist Convention. There is probably a reason that the Southern Baptist Convention now want to change its name because there is a lot of unnecessary and unfortunate historic baggage there.
