OK. Angelica is a grocery sacker/bagger at a store I've shopped at for many years. She has about the best interpersonal skills I've ever seen in such a young person - with all types of customers . If I were in the position to do so, I'd give her an honorary Masters of Human Relations - even though she never graduated from high school (never passed the exit exam).

Last week she got a tattoo with her son's name. I didn't feel in a position to talk her out of it, but I thought it's a bad idea. Her son is a cute infant now, but when he's 16, he may not feel grand about his name placed right above his momma's titty.

up close and personal, it takes no imagination at all.

When I first got to know her, I tried to get her enrolled at the adult school for exit exam prep so she could finally earn a diploma. Got all the paperwork, etc. She didn't follow through and I didn't push it because at some point I'm a much-too-older customer for a 21 year old and I didn't want to look creepy. Angelica could really make something of herself, though. She'd be great working the front for a number of businesses I'm sure.

But I dont consider her or Melanie (full back tat) trashy.

While Angelica never linked with the academic circle, Melanie is one smart cookie. She's had to scrap to support herself and pay for school in a variety of ways, including writing research papers for college students who are too stupid or too lazy to do it themselves.

Mine is green with red dorsal scales. Yellow in the wings to make them translucent. Blue horns and red eye.

No pearl. I didn't want a traditional Eastern one but a composite of several styles from my own imagination (a custom). Not too steroidal like fantasy dragons but not serpentine like Easterns. It covers my right shoulder with the tail going down my shoulder blade.

I call him Johnny. short for Dragon Johnson (pun intended, but not really).

I want a slanty-eyed fully Asian dragon. I don't know where it will go, but I still want to be able count its toes. So, no tramp stamp here. The dude is supposed to show up at 7pm tonight. Right now, I feel like a dragon is going to emerge from my butt breathing fire.

After 2 hours of excruciating pain, I could take no more and my tattoo is only half finished. Somebody decided that if I wanted a traditional Thai tattoo that it had to be done traditionally by hand. Khun Naw would tamp a foot and half long stick with four sharp metal prongs on the end that he dipped in ink. Right now, I'm very happy with a half black and half white dragon and not sure if I could take another 2 hours of that.

Indeed! To hell with that traditional method. It hurts 100 times worse than the modern day tattoo needles. I mean I even slept through one of my other tattoos, regretfully. And, 4 hours for a small tattoo is just nuts.
