I know, I know..."all of 'em". But which single game looks like the toughest on the schedule?

I've left off the mighty FCS FAMU rattlers.

Ditto. Morgantown. It'll be a primetime night game.

@Tech? Sooners will overcome poor officiating.

RRS? Did sa*et finally find a quarterback?

Notre Dame? 1-8 all time soon to be 2-8.

Nope it is WVU and it could be a couple of Top 5 rated undefeated teams playing for the conference title.

If I ranked who's the toughest on the schedule it would be:
1. WVU -The Big 12 Title might be up for grabs in this game.
2. Kansas State- We beat them last year like a rented mule but they are one of those tricky teams.
3. TCU - Has played great against bigger schools in the past. Not sure what their team will look like this year but its the last game and its on the road.
4. Texas- Red River Rivalry. Don't see them being a threat but its a rival game and crazy things has happened before.
5. Notre Dame- Toughest out of conference game on the schedule.
6. Texas Tech- Tough b/c of what they did to us last year. I believe the team will be ready for them this year.
7. Oklahoma State- Rivalry game but no Weeden or Blackmon. Finally got them at home, I expect payback this year.
8. Baylor- What kind of team will they be without RGIII? Like the Pokes, I expect them to take a huge step back this year.
9. Iowa State- Playing them away, but no reason why we shouldn't win this year.
10. Kansas- Giving the fat man a little bit of credit on this one.
11. UTEP - Away game but I see no problems
12. FAMU - This one should be over before halftime.

Agree. Should be a 'College Gameday' game

2. Kansas State- We beat them last year like a rented mule but they are one of those tricky teams.

KSU will better this year, but I think we just match up really well with them...plus, I don't think Klein found a passing game in the off season

3. TCU - Has played great against bigger schools in the past. Not sure what their team will look like this year but its the last game and its on the road.

It's different when you have to play 4 or 5 really good teams a year, as opposed to one big game a year. I think they struggle this year.

4. Texas- Red River Rivalry. Don't see them being a threat but its a rival game and crazy things has happened before.

QB is the key for texas. If they find one (which isn't looking really promising), they could easily be back to top 10 style. This game always makes me nervous.

5. Notre Dame- Toughest out of conference game on the schedule.

I don't know what to expect from ND. Does Kelly have ND on the rise? Or, are they just another over-hyped, mediocre ND team?

6. Texas Tech- Tough b/c of what they did to us last year. I believe the team will be ready for them this year.

Definitely won't be overlooking this game.

7. Oklahoma State- Rivalry game but no Weeden or Blackmon. Finally got them at home, I expect payback this year.

Agree

8. Baylor- What kind of team will they be without RGIII? Like the Pokes, I expect them to take a huge step back this year.

Agree

9. Iowa State- Playing them away, but no reason why we shouldn't win this year.

If you believe in "trap" games, this could be one. ISU showed last year that they can play with the big boys. But, like KSU, we match up with ISU well.

10. Kansas- Giving the fat man a little bit of credit on this one.

Until they climb out of the cellar, I have a hard time worrying about KU at all.

11. UTEP - Away game but I see no problems

Agree

12. FAMU - This one should be over before halftime.
Yep

Good 'quick' analysis Palmetto.

@ WV
@ Tech

we win all the others. Those top 3 are all coin flips.

The reason I voted on West Virginia is that the game is in November, and West Virginia will want to prove something. If OU can go there without any injuries, then OU should not have any problems.

West Virginia will be tough because they will have a seasoned offense this year, not so sure about defense. The other factor is the distance that has to be traveled to play this game, especially in November. I think it will be a see-saw battle thoughout the game, but I think that the SOONERS will pull away in the end, at least I hope so because it will be the first college football season that I will be able to watch in the US in over three years. GO SOONERS!!!!!!

You may want to watch the video of him having his team practice celebrating a victory, and immediately revoke said credit.

Thanks for doing the offseason polls. Baby badger demands more time now so I haven't been able to keep up with this :)

Moonshine flowin, couch burnin, and banjo pickin the entire week leading up to the game.... Hell it may even decide the conference champ!

I'm no badger, but I think the law is that someone has to post polls when you're on maternity leave.

Warning in advance = SF.com suffers from an acute case of groupthink without even realizing it. Virtually every poster will choose the same option no matter what, even without knowing what everyone else chose. This poll question is a perfect example of that.

What will be interesting about this season is that over the years we've wondered how the TCU's, Boise's of the world would fare in a conference like the B12 or SEC. We're going to get to see what two mid-majors (BCS or no, BLeast is mid-major) will do in a major conference. Now they can't just bring their A game for a couple of games and mail it in the rest of the time. If you don't at least bring your B+ game against teams like TT, Baylor, K State, they can bite you in the ***. How did Utah do in a mid-major-like Pac last year?

I don't see us leaving WV with a win.

I see Texas and OSU as our next toughest opponents.

i see texas as another total beatdown. we finally get osu back at home and a beatdown will come with it. considering poor road losses late in the season, west virginia seems like the toughest by a long shot.

When I saw WV @ home, I got worried. Our biggest game of the year. I can't remember how far back
the Bowl game was when we lost to them. I hope someone is still on the team to remind everyone.

His name is Coach Stoops, and I'm convinced that, somewhere, Owen Schmidt is still running free in the OU secondary.
