So true. You know that Thai farmers refuse to eat their own produce and Thailand is one of the world's largest exporters of agricultural goods. I'm just waiting for the study that claims that McDonalds is the healthiest food one can eat.

Why? My point is I get tired of this sensationalistic sort of story. I am sure that I could find health code violations in any home kitchen, including your kitchen, but that isn't going to stop you from eating there, is it? Do have hand soap on your kitchen counter? Shocking! The magazine article would say "In olevetonahill's kitchen, investigators found toxic chemicals on food preparation surfaces. Ugh!"

Good question. They buy their veggies and fruit from the local market with the mistaken belief or hope that other farmers aren't using as many chemicals as they do. Or, maybe it is just better not to know for a fact.

Yeah and I'm now sorry that I mentioned it.
