Not really that big of news, but damn the last line is funny as hell

Pair of former four-star ‘Horns to transferPosted by John Taylor on April 18, 2012, 1:11 PM EDT
Buried deep on Texas’ depth chart, two members of the Longhorns football program have decided to continue their playing careers elsewhere.
The school announced Tuesday that redshirt freshman tight end Darius Terrell (pictured, No. 15) and redshirt sophomore defensive back Eryon Barnett will transfer from UT. While no specific reasons for the twin moves were given, their standing on the depth chart would be a good place to start in the search for an explanation.

Terrell would’ve been behind at least three tight ends entering summer camp, while Barnett likely would’ve been, barring injury — or injuries, to be technically correct — relegated to special teams.
“We appreciate the efforts of both Darius and Eryon during their time at Texas,” head coach Mack Brown said in a statement. “We understand their reasons and support their decisions. We wish them the best of luck in the future.”

Terrell came to Austin as a four-star member of UT’s 2010 recruiting class. He played in nine games and caught just one more pass than I did during his time at the school.

So they have a new Sportscastor for WhornVision once he's through playing wherever he ends up?

They were the two lowest rated players in that class at only 4 stars, so why is this a surprise?

(I'm sure UT can pull in a couple of 7-stars from Achmejinidad JUCO to fill the holes.)

There wasn't enough doobage in Austin for their taste.

Soooo, he's baggin Terrell for not catching passes? I'd blame MB and the poor combo QB system they had first. Perhaps he wanted to go somewhere the forward pass was at least likely to occur.

They probably couldn't compete since the other 83 scholarship players were all 5 stars . . .

Fact: If Texas wasn't recruiting them, they wouldn't have been four-stars.

Texas: We increase your recruiting rankings just by showing slight interest in your sorry arse!
