I wonder how the SF Server is doing?

I know some here might think it was my SF posting that did it but no, they would be wrong. Most of those were done via Wifi or internet on my IPhone. I think adding the Wife's Kindle Fire did it and the seemingly endless stream of ITunes Gift Cards that my Teenage Daughter has been getting. Where do they come from? Are they the new Party parting gift you get for bringing a gift to another teeanage girl's Birthday Party? Is this how Mom's turn their Daughter against their Dad now by buying them secret ITunes Gift Cards ? Or is the Wife the one out of control by downloading books onto a Kindle that I will never be able to read?

I refuse to by a Kindle or a Nook. They have appeased me by finding someone that has a used copy of the 1st Hunger Games Book after seeing the Movie 2 or 3 weeks ago. Is the end of books coming? Will we begin seeing large Trees again as the need for pulp declines? Will the printing Industry disappear with Romney as POTUS because there won't be a Liberal to bail them out? Will Libraries disappear and we will only be able to go there and sit in the parking lot and download books when they are open?

Well thankfully I know it wasn't the internet usage that wore out that poor modem. The AT&T guy said he thought it was the DVR and 3 TV boxes the Uverse Boxes that bring the magic of pay cable into my House. The unrecorded and partially recorded shows are now back! Now I can catch up on what all those damned cajuns with TV shows are doing. And hopefully find out who will be the Noodler Champion this year in Dear Old Oklahoma. I hope it's an Okie!

Also after installing the new modem life wasn't back to normal for the Wife and Kids. They went to use our devices and laptops and had trouble getting them back onto the Wifi. After another 2 hours on the phone getting everything working again we were given FREE Skinamax and HBO for 3 months. I wonder if Skinamax should be blocked in case the kids ever find out it's there? I might be on the phone again trying to figure out why every TV Channel is blocked now. I wonder if I can get another 3 months. :D

It was an all day event. Actually I think the Modem had been dying a long slow irritating death over the last month or two. It finally got so bad we got the guy out and they actually found the problem and fixed it.

Called in today and they said they had outages in my area. I waited until 9PM tonight and called back. They found errors on my line. Another technician is coming out. I mentioned that I needed another remote and she said that because of the problems I was having...she would send me out a new one at no charge. The last one cost me $20! Oh well....now I have two for $10 and they aren't universal so I guess that's OK.

Now the Tech is coming out. I hope they get this stuff worked out.

It's like there is a bad satelitte over my house. Pixelated TV sucks. Can't wait for the repair dude to get here. I think it's the DVR box by the living room TV that's the problem or the line to the house is screwed up. I get tired of having to run down these problems and then find out there's rain got into the main telephone junction box down the street.

They had a outage yesterday supposedly and last night it was bad again until this morning. The gal on the phone said I was the only call in in our area so that leads me back to the house and the equipment that's the problem.

Guess i'll find out this afternoon.

I was Having major problems with My cable television Reception - i Was getting pixelated screens on some Channels and no picture on Others. The cable RepairMan came out, checked the signal coming into the House from the box and at my distribution point. He replaces Some of the connections on some of the Lines and said the Signal was weak coming from the Box, so the Line folks had to increase the Signal by replacing some of the amplifiers along the Branch. Apparently, the Cable company completed those Replacements because Now, all the Channels work and No pixelating screens on my T.V. Now, I can concentrate on Something else - like my almost Fast Internet speeds. Speeds - like when you are in your Car, you sometimes speed When you really don't know how fast You are going down a City Street. I must have watched A Streetcar naMed Desire several times and just don't think it is That good of a Movie. I remember watching Movies at the Admiral Twin Drive-iN, has that been rebuilt yet? Years ago, when there were carburetors on Cars, I actually rebuilt one, with a Friend of mine. Have you ever been in a Mine? I took a Coal Geology course and we Had a Field trip to an underground Mine in Oklahoma. We had to wear hard hats with lights on them to see because there were no lights in the Mine. It was a Kerr McGee mine too. We turned off the lights on our Hats and it was pitch Dark. Dark Side of the Moon is one my favorite Albums too. So, pixelating is not a problem for my cable Televison now. Who has lcd or LED or Plasma Televisions? When Mazeppa was on Television, the could be very Funny. Is there a Funny Farm or Funny factory In Tulsa?

BTW...I'm just frustrated...this crap has been going on for awhile now and I finally got them to start coming out once I threatened to put it all in a bag for them to come pick it up. If they don't get it fixed soon....I'm gonna have to go back to Direct TV and pay someone to cut down the 20 foot hedges out back. Bastards are gonna cost me some money because they can't figure out how to fix their Sh*t. I think if I had their equipment I could fix it. I also think you might be onto something and that they need to install an amplifier. Hopefully they will be here in a bit.

Coherent? I don't really get coherent until after Noon. I have been getting to sleep at 2-3 am and I get woke up at 7:30 Am and hand out hugs to the kids and a hardy "Have a great Day!" and then the Wife takes them and the neighbor kid to School. I go back to sleep for awhile and then wake up to an empty House. I then wander around until I know that I really woke up and that I'm not dreaming or heading towards the Pearly Gates and then I log on here to read about someone with a different schedule throw a crack about me being non-coherant or on drugs. I then throw back a few well deserved insults and then have some lunch...pick up the kids. There is some housework involved between wise cracks to keep the Wife happy that she doesn't have to do much work after returning Home from Work. I then go and watch the girl's Tennis Practice or the boys Basketball or Soccer Practice. We meet up with the Wife and then decide is she's cooking or I'm buying dinner.

Coherent is for people who have time to think it all through.

I think there is a whole lotta folks that can't get along with their reflection in the mirror that post here and those two things seem to be their explanation for everything.

I would like to point out that I didn't directly tell you to FO thought. Some folks miss that when it comes to reading comprehension. That must be where the whole coherant thing comes from. Then I don't think they get that coherant and rant are two different things. If you notice there is a whole lot of folks that will disagree with you if you were to say something like President Obama is the best Black President there ever was for instance. They might argue that there have been much better Black Presidents and they might even have lists of them. They might not have been President of this Country in which I might have to argue back or ask then that they think another Country was better than the United States while Barack Obama was President? Then i might tell them to go f*** off after they made some personal comment about me.

You know, we come here to post messages. Some post short ones some long ones. I know I don't read them all and I know I even trash some I write.

The funny thing is I do write some when I am trying to figure out other things like My TV Service/broadband service/phone service which is again out this evening. I'm back on this tiny *** cell phone posting messages that I know sometimes seem odd. But I'm getting pretty sick of this crap not working and if I dump them I have to get a provider for all three because bundling them all....I think I might not ever do that again.

This TV, phone and internet is out and has been since last night. The Wife said they said it must be the cable but I know that's not it as the damned thing works for hours while they are here. It doesn't start taking a dump until they leave.

Since we are headed to the R&W Game and the baseball ga
e they are coming out to check the outside lines etc. They have told me that I'm the only one with a problem but I can pull up the WiFis in this area on my phone and I know two of my neighbors who have AT&T and if they haven't had service, I'll know those help Desk Beyotches are lying to us. If that's the case I'll have DirectTV and the Sunday NFL Ticket back up by next week and then I can watch all the NFL games again. I'll dump everything.

The Wife says that Creado Mobile is offering buyout deals and agree to give money to the Democractic Party and Charities instead of the Republican Party that AT&T gives to. We can then go full on Che' Guevara up on the internet. ROTFLMFAO.

By Sunday with no phone, TV or Internet my Kids will be full tilt Bozo and I will have blown holes in that new modem and blamed my Daughter for about some stuff she said about her Parent's on Facebook over her Mom's Kindle Fire (That is if she's able to find a WiFi Hotspot)....she's gonna go crazy as Mom and Dad's phone are the only one's with a viable internet connection right now. AT&T Repair Guy just left here (On a Sunday - wow!) said there was a problem at the junction in our area that was affecting our service and they replaced the line from our house and the box as it wasn't the right one for our service for some reason. I think he told the Wife it should have been upgraded a year ago and didn't get the right part that keeps the signal at the proper strength. There were some Party Lines at the Junction causing jumps across our line too.

I'm hoping this mess is over. Back to the free HBO. :D
