I can't believe all the complaining about the lane violation in the Notre Dame game. Everyone who has ever played knows (or should know) the rules about entering the lane if you are not in a designated lane spot.

I'm all for letting guys play a little at the end of the game (as long as guys don't take advantage of that) but you have to call a clear violation like that. Not calling that would be like not calling an out of bounds because you don't want to influence the game.


Oh, and everyone know you can't shoot or throw the ball over the backboard either.
