Organizational Tree

What's the best program to easily create an organizational tree? I believe there's an Office app for that purpose, but I'm not sure of which one.

Visio is a common program to use. But you could check out OpenOffice.org and see if they have a freeware version that is compatible. I use their version of word and Excel on clients pc's that don't have Microsoft products

last few times i needed to do something like that i just used the "Drawing" thing in Google Docs

not sure how specialized you are wanting though

You can find templates for them in Word.

I have Visio on the Office disk, but not installed on the comp. I'm really not motivated enough to install the whole damned thing just for a small and very basic chart. I'll look for some word or publisher templates and try that. Might even give Google Docs a shot.
