Interestingly, our first two commits probably live within 10-15 miles of each other. The Katy and Cy-Fair schools districts border each other on the NW side of Houston.

I hope so, but isn't Taylor didn't join Dimon at junior days, let's hope he isn't afraid of competing with Ford.


By the way, I already feel good about the 2013 class with the addition of a very good D lineman.

I heard Taylor did come to JR Day with Dimon....not sure if that changed or not...have been very busy for me to actually keep caught up on all the recruiting news.....though I do try to catch myself up.

Just won the Texas State Championship at Katy HS. He looked great! Never gave up and pushed it all the way.

Matt was one of our earliest commits, so I've kind of followed his season. I think he's gonna be challenging for a starting spot early at OU.

Watching him play I see a run stuffer type DE, not a real get after the QB kind at the college level. That being said if he ain't careful, after a year in the program he's liable to be up around 270-280 and find himself at the DT position.
