A blanket statement that Republicans believe in limited government is a fallacy, particularly if you're looking at Republicans like Santorum, W, or Romney.

This idea that the President sets the price of gasoline and is responsible for giving everyone a job smacks of Socialism.

I know you know better than this. We are importing 50% of our crude. Exporting was for refined products.

Stewardship? I think this where "glass jaw" could be applied.

You work in O&G and are employed. We are now producing more in the U.S., refined and otherwise than we ever have. This fantasy about the administration slowing down our oil companies is just fiction.

Really? Tell me about all of those wells that are off the east and west coasts? 2008 federal lease bonus sales were $9.5 billion....last year $36 million. Any correlation there?

I would think that any objective observer would believe that a president denying the country access to its vast offshore reserves off the entire Atlantic and Pacific Coasts would be hampering/slowing/retarding/restricting oil and gas exploration.

If I were not concerned about the country's welfare and only thought of myself and OK I wouldn't want offshore drilling...the price of ng would be much higher.
