The Florida State Seminoles finished the 2011 season with a 9-4 record and a 5-3 record in conference play. In 2011, the Seminoles' biggest win was by 52 points against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers and their biggest loss was by 10 points against the Oklahoma Sooners. Last season, the team was led by EJ Manuel (2,666 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns, 8 interceptions, 151 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns), Devonta Freeman (579 rushing yards, 8 touchdowns), and Rashad Greene (596 receiving yards, 7 touchdowns).
