We really only know what we see, and what Stoops tells us, so take that for what it's worth. Everyone's seen his running ability, but he has a strong arm. However, in Stoops press conference this week, he was asked if they were going to work more on BB passing out of the Belldozer, and he said "if we're going to pass on fourth and short, I'm leaving Landry in".

That's not completely true, because Bell has thrown out of that formation, I think he was just saying he's more comfortable with having LJ pass the ball.

If I were guessing (and that's all I'm doing), I'd say he and Drew Allen are about at the same place in their development. It's a toss up as to who will take over after LJ. There's another kid on the roster, who's really young, Kendal Thompson, that will eventually see time...unless we land Max Browne this year...he could be a three year starter.

Thanks for the info. I hope BB works his butt off this month and in fall camp and really pushes LJ. Something tells me he will.

Speaking of Max Browne, rumors I'm hearing is he has OU #1 and Bama #2. Our new OC, Doug Nussmeier, came from Washington, supposedly they have a relationship. Guess we'll find out what kind of a recruiter he is right away. Our pro- style O would get him ready for the NFL, but word is he REALLY likes you guys because he likes to sling it around 40-50 times a game. It's early though and if USC has a good year in 2012 I look for them to get him in the end. We'll see!

So, who was throwing those garbage balls in the 3/10 practice vids?
