I never thought about this....

Most casino chips are made of a clay compound which can set off some of the TSA sensors as you are passing through security. If you are handling casino chips right before heading to the airport, make sure you scrub your hands. The security officials know that the residue from chips can sometimes give off the same sensor readings as plastic explosives. A secondary test can tell the difference but I am sure you do not want to be pulled aside for such a minor issue.

The only thing I've ever had trouble with when going through security was that I had a bottle of liquid that was more than 3.5 ounces. I just threw it away and bought a travel size of it when I got to my destination. I would freak if they pulled me aside for having a bomb on me....:bull_head:

I found this under Scrub your hands in this article about McCarran Airport in Vegas.

Heh. You might have been treated worse than the underwear bomber if you would have flown. LOL
