There is a very good chance OU lands Max Browne, and if we don't OU is not in a hurry to find a different one. But it will all depend after the Spring which direction they go with QBs.

If any of the back ups transfers, then OU will go after a few more. If not, then they will recruit Browne very heavy.

Browne, a 6-foot-5, 210-pound prospect, holds offers from virtually every major program in the nation but the Crimson Tide may have an edge thanks to new offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier, who had already built a strong relationship with Browne while he was still at Washington.

That comes from an Alabama newspaper, though, so the optimism is understandable. I think this was news to them mainly because Browne is the #1 rated QB.

The only other RB type that would get an invite is a true fullback. And even then, that is a pretty low chance of happening this year.

OU is done with RBs this year. With Bryant and Ford being committed, if we can keep them both, we would have 2 of the top 10 RBs in the nation.

The problem with Thomas is, will he be signing with an MLB team out of high school?

And even if he doesnt, he will want to play baseball, and as a QB, you just cannot be missing a lot of time in the film room during the off season.

Would gladly accept him, especially if he is willing to have no life away from sports!
