don't like seeing our bye weeks so early in the season...and whats with this playing @ WVU and @ TCU ****? as newbs to the league, they should be forced to play every game on the road ;)

We play eight bowl teams from 2011, and the final three games are against 2011 conference champs of the Big East, the Big 12 and the MWC. Wow.

West Virginia is going to be a challenge. Not only is the team pretty good, the environment is intimidating and the weather could be absolutely lousy. I'm sure glad we get OSewe at home the following week.

Why would UTEP deserve a Sooner home game? They should be paid to come to Norman.

Florida A&M? We will count them as Florida State. Oklahoma A&M = OSU = Oklahoma S&M

Looks like I will make the UTEP game.

We might have done a 2 for 1 dealio with them... or perhaps Stoops liked the Sun Bowl or saw the recruiting possibilities down there.

And that WV game will be the toughest I think as well.

Oh, great, another 1A team on the schedule. I'm going to need to lobby the DC alumni club to get a bus to Morgantown.

Looking forward to go back to the home of the Sun Bowl after the great time we had when we beat Stanford.

The biggest complaint I have is having two bye weeks in a three week period at the beginning of the season. It would have been nice to have one of the bye weeks towards the end of the season.

wow, the whorns have a hard schedule... well i guess when you are like 13-12 in your last 2 season's, it all looks hard.

@Ole Miss
@Okie St
West Virginia
Oklahoma (Dallas)
Baylor
all these in a row

other notes, @ tech, after a road game the week before.

close out @ KState.

man that is guaranteed 4-5 losses

WV and Frog Power both away will be hardcore tough, coming as they are at the end of the season when we're beat up. That's a train wreck IMO, but...if we get through that and we are still in the BCS hunt, it would make a great statement. Just like Red October back in 2000. Man, if we could just have fewer injuries...

Oh, and also FAMU is a 1AA (or FCS now, I think). That could do some damage to our SoS. Not an issue with the computers, I understand, but with the voters, it could. Too bad we couldn't get a BYU or somebody to fill that spot.

They simply replaced WVU and TCU for Mizzou and A&M and so we are on the road next year since those were home games for us this year.

Yeah, we usually don't have any trouble in Lubbock.

There is one advantage to playing @UTEP, their home games are on CBS College Sports HD which has pretty good production values. Florida A&M should be the only PPV game, unless OU finishes the deal with fox to show the game on the OU Sports network via Fox Sports Southwest.

According to what I heard from TRow on KREF,OU was not able to find home opener sacrificial lamb this late in the process without paying ridiculous money. Personally I would have gone SEC style and just added another FCS creampuff.

The bye weeks fall in good places for our scholar athletes to study for early midterms.

Dosnt worry me. Leach is gone. Can let the past scare ya in this game. But it is relevant.

For the UTEP game should one try to get tickets through UTEP or OU?

Don't like the fact that 5 of those teams have scoreboard on us. We've gotta fix that.
