I finally made it past medical. I'll start in late March. Talk about a process :nonchalance: Interview and testing was in November, and most of the large hurdles, like strength test and complete physical were in December. Got delayed for a while because they had questions about my back. Did MRI on my dime and sent the results in. And finally, notified yesterday that I have been qualified to work on a train crew and got my start date. I'm going to take my wife's I pad with me and post some really cool pictures. Man, I'm really looking forward to it, but skeered hoping a can learn the massive amount of material they will throw at me.

A good friend of mine went to the next interview/test session. 100 people showed up and 12 got hired, including my friend. So it's going to be real cool going through this whole process with someone I've know for about 6 years now.

Keep watching the website for those job openings. The are going through a HUGE wave of retirements right now.

After 9 years driving a truck, this will be much fun.

If you show up for the job everyday, pay attention, and actually try to do a good job, you've got probably 75% of the work force beat already.

Nothing to worry about, you'll do fine.
