small peanuts compared to what usc used to do and likely still does.

besides, he was probably referring to THIS nelson:

I read a great line about LK.

"Lane Kiffin was born on 3rd base and acts like he just legged out a triple."

A Sooner fan should know that line wasn't coined about Lane Kiffin.

I hate it when you get questions like this on a test. There's really no 'right' answer. Or maybe it's like the 'Kobayashi Maru' exercise at Starfleet, they're not looking for an answer, just studying how you deal with insoluble problems.

Can we go with, "He's a particularly stupid special needs child"?

shelley smith is the special needs person here... she practically thinks she's a usc assitant coach...

I'm not even a Trek guy, but I dug the references to Wrath of Khan they worked into that scene.

I've not heard the original quote then. Can you help a brother out?

Sure others will have the circumstances and maybe even better

But
"Some people are born on 3rd base and act like they have hit a triple"

Here it is

quote
Barry Switzer > Quotes > Quotable Quote
“Some people are born on third base and go through life thinking they hit a triple.”

Switzer said it about Texas, to help clarify further.
