Jonathan Hayes held the title of TE Coach and Special Teams Coordinator '99-'02. Chris Wilson held the title of Defensive End Coach and Special Teams Coordinator '07-'09. When Stoops hasn't designated someone as the ST Coordinator he has taken over and/or stated that they approach ST as a staff. And if I recall, when asked why he doesn't always that answer [heavily paraphrased] was that he aligned staff responsibilities with each coaches individual talents/accumen. Meaning, when he has had someone on staff with that interest/ability, they've been handed the job.

None of our coaches are primarily a ST coach or really even coach special teams alone. We have each coach do an element of special teams. Bobby Jack Wright was a special teams coordinator at one time. The tag means nothing. I think Bob has given himself that tag the last few years.

I guarantee ya I can do that...pay me....oh, 100K...and I'll be lighten so many fires they'll need a whole separate fire dept on campus... :-)

Yes he was TE's and special teams coach and I know he was here through the 2002 season.

Ideally, find a linebackers coach that also coaches special teams. Does Chris Wilson not fit this bill?
