apparently BV is being offered or has been offered the DC position at West Virginia and Stoops is "trying hard" to keep him in Norman. Per twitter, dave sittler, john hoover, etc

I don't believe that one. Joe deforest from OSU was just announced as DC last night.

Well... Mike better be one HELL of a DC without brother Brent if'n WV gets their way. Somehow, I don't see West Friggin Virginia getting who Oklahoma wants unless they're offering them a step UP. Going to Co-DC is a lateral move career-wise and OU has more to offer than WVU.

Anyone think BV would be butt-hurt enough over bringing Mike back that he would make a lateral, some might say downward move, and go to WVU as a co-DC?

I'd certainly understand if he went to be DC without the "co" in front of it.

I think Holgerson cant figure out BV's defense and thats why he wants BV on his staff rather having him on opponents'.

Same reason Mike is coming back as "co-DC" even though he is calling the plays. Word is Brent would be the main guy with DeForest as co-DC and special teams. Plus, WV is supposedly throwing more cash his way.

Maybe when Brent came in this morning Mike, as a joke, had all Brent's Office all boxed up and sitting in Willie's Office?
