What's the most valuable characteristic or ability for a coach or coordinator (MStoops) to possess? Is it knowledge of scheme, play-calling, the ability to evaluate talent, recruiting, some other intangibles? Of course there's an element of all of them involved, but which is most important for OU right now?

I am not the expert and understand that there is no bullet proof defense, but I remember back then it is EXTREMELY hard to move and score on OU defense (2000-2003)

There might be the argument of the existence of Tommy Harris, The Real Roy Williams, Brodney Pool.... but those guys partially recruited by Mike Stoop and his defense were tought.
