I'll watch without any misgivings. We would not have been in this game under any circumstances, so I have no problem with who got there. The formula spit out these 2 teams.

As far as who I'd like to see win - I'll probably decide as the drama unfolds. I'll see if one team emerges as clear protagonist or antigonist. I'll definitely quaff a brew (or 2).

I'll watch for the sheer drama of this particular matchup. Hoping Bama doesn't just beat them but beats the unholy drunken hell out of the lowlife Cajun nation. Also depressed and wearied by my belief that it will be a long time before we are truly where these teams are. Especially hurtful when remembering previous decades when WE were these teams who are playing tonight. I hope Mike Stoops and other adjustments, plus improved head coaching by Bob get us back there, but hate to admit I'm not real confident this regime can do it. Still, I'll be there every step of the way hoping, cheering, and supporting the Big Red. I am an awful predictor, too, and hoping this will be the latest example of that.

I respect Saban and Miles, though I don't care for them personally, for possessing the leadership qualities that recruit, develop, and produce players who believe in them, believe in themselves, and make the plays when it counts to win--consistently.

Didn't Arky beat K State far worse in JerryWorld than little brother did in Stillwater? Didn't Arky also beat A&M by a worse margin than OSU the week after Arky had multiple injuries against Bama? If so, that is the same Arky team that both Alabama and LSU massacred.

Also, LSU thumped Oregon, who beat Stanford by 27 in Palo Alto, who should have beaten little brother. Any way you slice it, LSU was worlds better than little brother.
