Which would you consider better at evaluating recruits?

Both I think do a pretty good job but I would give Rivals a slight edge. The one that I have the biggest problem with is Scout.

I reviewed ESPN vs. Rivals in basketball a few years ago (after we'd seen their careers unfold), and Rivals ran away with it. Haven't really looked into football, though. You could probably just compare a couple classes from 4-6 years ago.

They're pretty close on their top 25 list, so it's the 3 star and under athletes that separate them. Rivals is a little better in my view, but only because they've been at it longer. ESPN is getting better, and I like the Sooner coverage better on ESPN SoonerNation. I imagine in time ESPN will dominate the recruiting world just as they have everything they've attempted (well, not everything...arena football didn't work out so well for them).

I thought this year was the first year the ESPNU Under Armour Bowl over-shadowed the Army All American bowl (with has been the staple of the high school all star game for years).
