Been watching the warmups with the Ducks new ghetto rim mirrored helmets. Like playing against a team with sunlamps on their heads. At least Herbie and Mushmouth gave them some grief over.

Just like Oregon.

What did herbie and Musberger say?

Herb basically said that it should have been paid attention to before the game. Those things do appear to create an unfair advantage, although, the whoregon qb has to look at them, as well.

Remember when OU gave away pinwheels at a football game about 5, 10 years ago? Basically, you could see little reflections all over the stadium, like people were randomly holding mirrors up.

OU has never had any such giveaway ever again, probably because the light reflection was so annoying.

That said, reflective helmets (and material on uniforms) are going to get outlawed because of this game, methinks. Even at night games it would get annoying, because stadium lighting would be blaring off the helmets.

It's probably fine until you have to look past one to catch a pass, and you get blinded. Stupid.

I wish OSU was playing Oregon. Both like to dangle gaudy uniforms to their recruits.

Not to mention Oregon would whip them like crazy.

I think they look neat but I think they possibly could be distracting.

Don't try to say they don't look good. They are pretty badass, most likely an annoyance for wisky

I am not going to try to say they don't look good. I am going to succeed at saying those helmets and all things Oregon suck ***.

What would it take for Oregon to be burned from East to West by a massive firestrom and then slide into the pacific?

Just trying to budget things, here.

Helmets = suck.

The uniforms, I am okay with. They got rid of that awkward tapering of the numbers, and finally put some numbers of the sides of the shoulders. And for once, they actually were wearing green (OMG A SCHOOL COLOR!). But the whole thing was brought down a level by their pimp-my-ride'd helmets.

They should have put spinner covers over the ear holes.

USA Today just did a feature on the best and worst unis of 2011 (and I guess technically this is 2012):

Link (http://mediagallery.usatoday.com/The+best+%28and+worst%29+uniforms+of+2011/G2679,A10080)

The most WTF of the season continues to be the Maryland flag unis:

Yesterday I said that the Duck unis were like a design contest where everybody wins. Next year I predict a puff paint/dot script uniform. :-)

I think I must be the only person in the country who liked the Maryland flag unis. Maryland's flag is pretty strange to begin with and as the only major college team in the state, it was kinda neat that they didn't shy away from it. Things like this work better at schools like Maryland and Oregon though. I'd never want to see any of that at OU.

I think I like the whole idea of getting away from the traditional types of unis but it's ashamed that those that Oregon played in took away from the game instead of add to it.
