Can't argue against the promotion of safe sex, regardless whether it is effectual or not. I don't know what it costs to put up a city ballot, but they are probably gonna get a lot of free press and that's not a bad thing.

Also, I can imagine that a lot of city employees are already volunteering to do the job of on-site inspections, in the event that it passes.

1. The writers/editors probably giggled when choosing this photo and caption for the articlehttp://s1.reutersmedia.net/resources/r/?m=02&d=20111228&t=2&i=552019754&w=460&fh=&fw=&ll=&pl=&r=BTRE7BR1AP100
A health official inspects a condom at a laboratory in Nonthaburi province, on the outskirts of Bangkok September 27, 2010.

2. I wonder if the 71,000 who signed the ballot petition would advocate penalities for watching pron with unprotected sex.

I would prefer to watch prom with no condoms, but no biggie. At least most of them do regular testing now.

Seems like more over reaching to me.

should actors also be required to wash their hands prior to eating on set? Not every problem needs to be resolved by the State.....you usually just create more problems.

This x1000. The state has no business whatsoever in regulating sex.

No.....I like to use them when I choose to use them. I could see and industry standard or something like that used here but I just don't like the city/state/State requiring that someone have sex a certain way. It will never end....looking to the State to solve problems regarding personal decision making.
