SoonerScoop is saying that Kendall Thompson and Joe Powell are working at receiver during today's bowl practice. We knew that McCay was transferring but it also looks like Sheldon McClain is as well.

Metoyer, Neal, Shepard, and Woods better be ready to strap it up and play next year.

Not looking good...

Honestly, coaches need to put the brakes on recruiting a guy for another position and letting them logjam at WR 'to get it out of their system'. Not all of them will come to the realization by themselves like Lendy Holmes did.

2 players that have never caught a pass for OU are leaving? Ok.

Yet another reason you guys should be getting Dorial Green Beckham in for an official visit.

Powell started as a WR but went to DB where he has some problems hustling.

Is hustling a position dependent problem?

Guys like that dont care if the reincarnation of Randy Moss is at the school they choose, they come to start. He knows he will play anywhere.

I think Kameel Jackson is going to step up big time next year.

Wouldn't it be fun if we had more than one receiver on fire at once? Maybe this is the game Hanna and Ratteree decide to show up. Maybe our coaches call their numbers. Maybe Franks calms down.
Maybe.

I hope Winchester, being a senior and all, gets to play. And does well.

Sounds like the Texas game. Yes that was fun.

Fat chance. Never use the TEs, they are meant for decoys only. Josh wants the Heuple/Smith duo to be remembered always. :very_drunk:

Hasn't Winchester only had one bad snap all year, and that was on a cold windy rainy miserable day?

Winchester has had only one bad snap in his career, iirc, and that was the Iowa State game. He's been a gamer on special teams, has given his all. I mean, sure, I'd like to have the best studs possible playing WR, but hey, it's the final game of his football career, in all likelihood. I wouldn't mind seeing him get a chance and playing lights out.

First snap of his career...A safety for Chattanooga. Their only points of the game. Besides those two, he's been GREAT!
