I think I work with Draco Malfoy. Seriously. He even has Crabbe and Goyle like buddies.

I feel like Neville Longbottom.

I've come to terms with it. Thank you for listening.

I understand most of those words, but have no idea what you are talking about.

I here a bit of Avada Kedavra helps. Try waiving your wand and saying that in their direction.

Try expellipenis. I find that it's more convincing than expelliarmus.

Just don't tell them to Eat Slugs! Especially if your wand is broken.

I've always been a Slytherin man myself. Consider yourself lucky to have such coworkers.

Slytherin is considered to be quite sinister.

Let me guess: they make fun of you for confusing a children's book (albeit an excellent one) with real life a lot?

In all seriousness, don't let the complainers bring you down. Not only is it the holidays, but even if it wasn't, it's not worth your energy and angst to let other people dictate your overall level of happiness.

Set these complainers to "ignore." Permanently. And if they interfere with your work, tell a supervisor. Or get headphones.

Or... is this a workplace bullying thing. Set them to "ignore" also... but totally nark to the bosses.

Slytherins really were the coolest kids in the castle. But it was the previous generation. Lucius, Severus and Regulus would have been nowhere near as lame.

Good point. A select few make Slytherin look pretty good. Anyone named Malfoy makes them look pretty lame. The Malfoys are all hat, no cattle.

Like Eleanor Roosevelt said: "No one can make you feel bad about yourself unless they are right."

Neville Longbottom had an awfully good arc.
