OMG I saw two TEXAS commits on that list! I thouhjt the Ivy League Horns did NOT go the juco route.

OMG I saw two TEXAS commits on that list! I thouhjt the Ivy League Horns did NOT go the juco route.I think LOTS of schools raid the JC'S, but yeah, the cows have such lofty academics, they really shouldn't be able to gain admission for their brawny beef.

Those are the 3rd and 4th juco transfers during Mack's 14 seasons at Texas. He typically doesn't go that route (although we do on the baseball team fairly regularly). The reason is it's harder for jucos to transfer their credits to UT. We don't have a 'general studies' program like you and others. All the credits have to transfer to a specific degree plan at UT. He took advantage of our new SEC coaches' ties to these guys this year though.
