Smart move IMO. This team needs to regroup and bring in some fresh talent. Jackson is a workhorse but the rest of the backs are terrible. Outiside of Lloyd the wideouts are a joke and obviously the O-line is bad. As much as I'd like for them to trade McDaniels for a kid with a copy of Madden 12 and an Xbox to be named later, I think keeping the staff together is essential. The last thing they need is more turnover.

Tebow would have the rams in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Ponder is torching the Saints, putting up McNabb type of numbers (5/15 for 32 yds with 10 min to go). :D

Couldn't hurt...what'll they do, start losing games? Oh, wait...

Yep looks like the Rams might as well hang out the "gone fishing" sign.

I have some serious man love for Sam but Timmy just has something about him. He doesn't look pretty and you wonder how the heck they win but the guy just makes his team better.

I wouldn't bet against him. Just sayin'.

You all and the Tebow love fest should have waited until the 2nd half. He got sacked for a 29 yard loss and kept throwing jumping in the air. Looked like the Tebow of old for the most part who has trouble throwing and sure could not think fast on his feet against the Patriots.

It helps to have a defense that keeps you in the game. Tebow is a winner, but he wouldn't have been nearly as effective this year if the defense hadn't been stout enough to put him in a position to actually make plays.

Tebow will be Praying to Marty now that Jesus is praying to Prater.

Smart move... let Bradford heal, work on getting a better line and fire McDaniels. I don't think his scheme works... better off finding a new offensive coordinator.

Tebow hasn't exactly had a murderer's row sort of schedule. When they've played a solid team that is playing well, they get thumped. Record-wise, the best team that they've beaten is the Jets and that was barely. The Jets have discovered all sorts of ways to lose games this year.

As to Sam, I think it's the right thing to do. Let him heal up going into spring. If they don't want the top pick, trade and get a lot of help- OL, WR, & some DL/LBers. I guess, they need a lot of help.

How do you all feel about Mangino being Sam's OC in St. Louis? Could he take his portly attributes to the NFL? And would he be good for Sam?

I couldn't think of a worse fit.

The best thing that could happen to Sam is that the Rams get the #1 pick, draft what's his name and Sam gets traded.

Traded to where? Name me one team where he'll a) be the starting QB and b) not get killed. There are teams that are in worse shape than the Rams. They need to stay healthy and draft O-line and WRs. Starting with Justin Blackmon would be nice. They need to do whatever it takes to get him. And Spags needs to look elsewhere for an O-Coordinator.
