If you qualify, please have your name (or family member's) added to the list already there. (see link below)

This is a very well-done project by Veteran's Groups, the City of Norman, Cleveland County and architect Rick McKinney.

I put Memorial in quotes because you don't have to be deceased to have your name engraved on the memorial plaque. This monument is a living entity and continues to have names engraved in the bronze plaques.

Requirements for inclusion (any 1 listed below qualifies, deceased Veterans and living):

1. Live(d) in CC and are a Veteran.
2. Joined military from CC.
3. Served in CC while in military.

My father (USAF) and I (USN) are both included and I am working now on including my mother (USAF) as well.

I've attached the link which has the application form in .pdf file format, as well as a list of names included so far.

Very cool. My folks put my name and my brothers name on a couple of bricks in Bricktown (when it was being renovated) while we were in the Gulf. I always appreciate these kinds of things.
