I've not jumped on the "Fire Venables" train...but, when you see these numbers, they do bear out that we were doing better with co-defensive coordinators instead of just Brent and Bob.

I hate to admit it, but it does look like Mike may have been the man behind the machine in the early 2000s. Rehire him, make him co-defensive coordinator, and quit screwing around in this crappy conference.

Wow....that Stat Sheet has Brent Venables as DC every year that Bob has been HC and Mike Stoops as DC for four of them.

I guess it's all in how some folks want to draw up a Stat sheet and act like Venables wasn't at OU from 1999-2003

Brent has also had as many 11-3 or 12-2 Seasons as mike did if you take out the 2005 8-4 and the 2009 8-5 and this years possible 10-3 Season. So I guess you could say that if mike comes back....we might possibly have some bad years given the fact that Brent has had as many successes as Mike on his own. Of course then we will have to break it down and find out who exactly was the guy that recruited the good players and actually went to their house....lol
