Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III was named the winner of the Heisman Trophy on Saturday evening, far outdistancing preseason favorite Andrew Luck of Stanford, as well as the other three finalists: Trent Richardson, Montee Ball and Tyrann Mathieu.
