So who are some of the big targets we have left? Who do we have a realistic chance of getting?

To me, there is a big time DT we are in on, but I don't know where we stand:

Ellis McCarthy
6'5" 311lb
Monrovia, CA

Of course we're still trying to land DGB and Mario Edwards (who is still a soft verbal to FSU).

We've landed a couple of the best O-linemen in the country, and with Derrick Woods committing on Thursday, we are stacked at WR. Still some big time names out there (as Mad Dog mentioned, Gerald Bowman and others), so between now and NSD, we could end up with a top 3 class.

With McNamara now in the fold, who else do we all think we will get? We will probably get about 25, and we are at 19 now. DGB, Edwards, and Agholor(sp?) are our biggest targets left, but who are our most likely gets?

They're "just three stars", but I think we are looking at RBs HS David Smith out of IL and JUCO Damien Williams out of Arizona Western CC. BTW, if anyone does have info on Ellis McCarthy would love to know if we are up there on his list. He could be a game-changer type DT.]

He said Texas was actually in the lead at this point. But he's taking officials to LSU and FSU later this month. Those are his final 3.

No OU targets were committing last night at the UA game. I think there are one or two that may announce at the Army All American game.

Yet many times he was faster than anyone on the field. High school 40 times are BS.

40 times in general are BS. I've heard coaches at the college level say they are much more interested in the 20 times. If you think about it, how many times a game does a RB go for 40+ untouched? Not to mention that HS times (unless officially measured at a Nike camp or the like) are too inconsistent to be useful.
