Iowa knows how to beat teams they shouldn't. This will be tough bowl game for OU.

This bowl game depends on OU. Iowa will have no part in whether we win or not. If we come to play, we win by 21.

It would be nice to knock the legs out from under a Big 10-11-12 team; we so seldom get the opportunity. I'm trying to light a fire here.......

and this^^^

If we show up ready, we win in a big way. However, I am afraid we show up less than excited to be there and have a dog fight on our hands.

We'll beat them like they owe us money.

If Ferentz has half of a brain and orders that every play calll on offense will be a quick slant over the middle, they will put 40 on us, it'll simply be a matter if our offense can catch up.

I am not sure what to think, will more time off mean more healing or more injuries and suspensions? Once the game rolls around I think alot of it depends on how the offense starts out, if we can get into a rhythm offensively early that should carry over into a win as we are the better team but we have had an awfully hard time getting started offensively it seems.

OSU lost to Iowa State too. The Cyclones aren't too shabby if ya ask me.

Oh yeah Texas Tech went 5-7 on the season. They won 3 road games this year. Need I say more?

We're just not very good to be totally honest. Iowa has the ability to put up some points believe it or not. I'm almost certain they're going to take advantage of OU's soft defense. Anything else?

Almost everybody we play does.

None of our problems have been solved yet. Confidence is still unwarranted. Tony Jefferson's little tweeter comment about the bowl opponent tells me all I need to know about how "motivated" they are.

They can road grade us. Our LBs will be like tissue paper to their guards and center.

Single ply or double ply tissue?

TLew and Wort are single ply. Nelson and Bird are double ply. ;)

do well in up tempo, he's better down field with McNutt (big body, good hands). Coker, their ONLY running back, is a
bruiser, a la Millard, and goes inside or out and is a workhorse! Look for a balanced attack...if the D is on their game
and gang tackles Coker, jams McNutt at the line and disrupts his routes and doesn't forget about #2 receiver
(Keenan-Davis), we should be okay. On the O, keep Landry's jersey clean, don't forget about the run and have the
receiving corp run the correct routes, I see the Sooners +21 going away.

In bowl games, it's who is glad to be there and who is not. Who is motivated and excited and who isn't as much as talent.

Once more, OU is in a no win position in a bowl game. If they win, they were supposed to, if they lose they once more look bad in a "big game".

OU should win handily. SHOULD. I wouldn't bet it though.

Well, with that amount of time to prepare they should. The thing is it'll be like a UCONN situation they have NO QB. We'll really only have to stop their run game. If their QB plays like his life is on the line then I'd worry.

That's most bowls besides the BCS games. The favorites are supposed to win.

This "no win" situation is a bunch of BS. It's a game and they keep score and the winner wins. Spectators can put any slant on that they want inside their little skulls, but it doesn't change the facts.

Ok, thanks. And you should change your sig by the way... OU definitely did some some "blowing" this year, just not on OSU's candle. :hurt:

Thanks for the unsolicited advice. I guess you had to go somewhere when your story fizzled out.
