3 star get in the Brody mode, he is a run blocker. Was offered by Michigan State yesterday & had set up a visit, Kittle came and talked to him & he gave a verbal before he left

According Hale on KREF his recruiting was about to take off Nebraska was ready to offer him

I do radio for Ft Scott Community College and have covered this kid for the past 2 seasons - Great blocker in the run game and has good hands. As an OU fan I was happy to see that he will be going to be in Norman at semester - He had many schools looking at him after talking with the coaching staff - UConn, Nebraska, Arkansas, Michigan St, Louisville, Minnesota just to name a few. This kid has put on 30 pounds at least since he left high school and has kept his speed. Still has room to grow if you ask me and I think he will be a nice addition to the Sooners this fall.

Nice pick up. We already had the #1 OG and the #1 C committed for this class. We needed to fill out the tackle spots.

I'm tellin' you, THIS is going to end up being the best class in Stoops tenure.

Sooners signed Brannon Green, a much-needed junior college transfer, to begin replenishing the position.

Green is a 6-foot-4, 268-pound sophomore with Fort Scott (Kan.) College.

Life is unfair.

He showed that he is great when wide open on play action. Other than that, he was mediocre to sub par.

The fans love tight ends. They don't screw for "Touchdown, wide receiver" or "Touchdown, running back" or "Touchdown, give it to a defensive end that for some reason is on the field and watch no opponents be able to bring down his big butt."

TOUCHDOWN, TIGHT END!!!!!

It needs to come back, if for no other reason than the fans.

I would settle for seeing the wishbone though, since you old farts make such a big deal outta it

Every play matters. Especially the ones where you can change a game.

it's kind of difficult to get your tight ends the ball, especially in the red zone when you have basically no threat of the run. tight ends thrive off play-action

They both had good hands (Ratatouille and JH) but neither had blazing speed like Gresham. This year they just had to stay in and block more.

This year they just had to stay in and block more.Hanna tested faster in the 40 than Gresham,in fact if memory serves he tested better in all areas. That was one reason coaches were so disappointed in his development.

I think these JUCO guys will end up really helping us. Green seems to be a Brody Eldridge clone. Brody is 6'5", 265, from La Cygne, Ks. Green is 6'4", 268, from Altamont, KS. Looks like we have another lunch-pail type who will work his arse off. We need more guys like that.
